On Thursday, 26th March, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Peterborough organized and hosted its "Entrepreneur Thursdays Market", an exciting market event specifically designed for student entrepreneurs.
This market showcased the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial talent of students from Trent University, providing them with a unique platform to display their creativity and business ventures. The event featured a diverse array of 10 businesses, each owned and operated by ambitious students who were eager to share their products and services with their peers. Among the businesses showcased were a variety of offerings, from handmade crafts, desserts and cultural foods to tech innovations and hair & beauty services.
The Entrepreneur Thursdays Market served not only as a marketplace but also as a dynamic networking opportunity for the student entrepreneurs. Participants were able to engage directly with potential customers, allowing them to promote their businesses effectively while also gaining invaluable feedback.
