WHO ARE WE?
The Trent Rotaract Club of Peterborough is one of many youth led clubs, under the umbrella of Rotary International. Rotaract clubs cater to young professionals ages 18+. We meet twice a month to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects, and socialize. As Rotaractors, we work diligently to serve local and international communities, while also developing critical leadership and professional skills for ourselves. While Rotary clubs serve as sponsors, Rotaract clubs decide how to organize and run their club and what projects and activities to carry out.

The Rotaract Club of Peterborough began in August of 2014, as interested members came together alongside the Rotary Club of Peterborough and began the process of starting an official Rotaract Club. By mid 2015, the dream had become a reality. The Rotaract Club of Peterborough is now also affiliated with Trent University, and became the "Trent Rotaract Club of Peterborough" in 2021 as members decided to expand our outreach and benefit from the opportunities of being a community & university based Club.
While the Rotary Club of Peterborough is the official sponsor Club for the Trent Rotaract Club of Peterborough, the Club has good relations with the Rotary Club of Kawartha, as well as the Rotary Club of Lakefield-Ennismore. As a Club, we have committed ourselves to working with several organizations within Peterborough, including the Peterborough Youth Emergency Shelter (YES), Habitat for Humanity, The One Roof Community Centre and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Through fundraisers and hands-on service projects we continue to work toward the Trent Rotaract Club of Peterborough's mandate to be a group of Youth helping Youth within the community.
